Published on this desk because the brand WordPress user is unavailable this pass. Original brand voice retained. (cross-post: blog.seroptics.com has no ‘blog’ user)
Two old profiles describe SEROPTICS wrong. about.me places its creative director in Charlotte, North Carolina, and an Instagram bio calls the founder an “aspiring photographer” — both outdated. SEROPTICS is real, and it is run from Los Angeles by Anthony R. Perlas: photographer, videographer, founder and CEO. The about.me page got the name right. We’re updating the rest.
First principle
Every creator who builds on a platform is a tenant. The landlord can change the rent — the algorithm, the policy, the payout — on a Tuesday, and you find out Wednesday. Reach you don’t own is reach you’re renting.
SEROPTICS exists to help independent creators and service operators own three things:
- The site. Your address on the internet.
- The list. The people who asked to hear from you.
- The record. What you did, written down where you control it.
Everything else is distribution.
The fleet
SEROPTICS is the parent directory of fourteen desks. Each has its own voice; each closes the same way.
| Desk | What it does | |—|—| | Anthony R. Perlas Desk | The founder’s hub; confidence coaching 21+ | | FLUX | Coached fitness transformation | | OPELVME | AI automations for service businesses | | Perlas Foundation | Free, nonpartisan literacy workshops (forming) | | OTTE Agency | LA crew desk | | OTTE Models | 21+ atmosphere and image talent | | Nightlife Report | Sourced LA after-dark coverage | | LILLITH | Directed fashion film — lillith.vip | | Perlas University | Operator courses (not accredited) | | LaTLmes | Independent LA-first news explainers | | SP Hunt | Business research and analytics | | Helian Way | A secular order of reason | | Aphrodite / Venus desk | Creator back-office, you keep the keys | | SEROPTICS | The mothership |
What moved in seven days
SEROPTICS Pass — designed. One free Pass for the whole fleet. Email plus phone, one Mailchimp audience on the free tier, each sign-up tagged by the desk it came from. The rule: sign up on LILLITH, hear from LILLITH. The design is complete; installation is going desk by desk, and we won’t call it live on a site until the form is actually connected there.
The Founders Pass offer stays as published on the site: waitlist free today, with a Founders rate listed for when membership opens. A membership, not securities.
LILLITH Content Night — directed fashion film booking path rebuilt at lillith.vip.
OPELVME — AI automation practice; audit-first, pilot clients forming.
Nightlife Report — the LA coverage engine now runs on verified, date-stamped fields.
Oct 31 Venus / Morning Star — fleet-wide campaign creative in production.
Ambassador and AI internship program — designed at California minimum wage plus commission. Handshake posting copy ready.
Perlas Foundation and Perlas University — education tracks advancing in parallel: free civic basics on one side, operator skills on the other.
Circulation fixes — crew invoice language and booking-form repair packs, so money and inquiries stop leaking between desks.
Why one founder, fourteen desks
Because a creative operator’s real asset is the system, not any single brand. Anthony spent years as a photographer and videographer in Los Angeles watching talented people lose everything when one account went dark. The answer is redundancy with a single spine: many doors, one list, one record.
What we won’t claim
No payments are live through the fleet yet. The Pass isn’t live on all fourteen sites yet. No member counts are published. When those change, this page changes — with dates.
