  • Who we are: Anthony R. Perlas

    Who we are

Anthony R. Perlas is a Los Angeles photographer, AI builder, speaker and U.S. veteran. He founded the LILLITH, SEROPTICS, OTTE, FLUX, OPELVME, SP Hunt and Perlas desks.

    What we do

He speaks on one idea: make life portable. Topics include starting over with a plan, building with AI as a solo operator, and the long future of life. Talks are paid engagements.

    When

    Dates are booked through anthonyrperlas.com.

    Where

Los Angeles, and wherever the event is.

    Why

The talk theme comes from one long view:

    • Fact: the Sun is slowly brightening. Solar models give Earth roughly one to two billion habitable years (Schröder & Smith 2008; Wolf & Toon 2015).
    • Open question: life may be rare. Earth is the only place we know it exists.
    • Belief: humanity should become spacefaring and, in time, carry life beyond the solar system.
    • Speculation: if a superintelligence is ever built, it might help preserve life and even restart it elsewhere. Nobody knows whether that’s possible, and we label it that way.
    • Philosophy (labeled as philosophy): the universe may work something like a dreaming brain, a mind imagining itself into form. It’s a personal view, never presented as science.

    How it works

Event hosts, veteran organizations and HR/ERG teams can book a talk through anthonyrperlas.com. Talks are paid. There are no free consults.

  • Stop Renting Reach: The State of SEROPTICS, Week of Oct. 5

Published on this desk because the brand WordPress user is unavailable this pass. Original brand voice retained. (cross-post: blog.seroptics.com has no ‘blog’ user)

Two old profiles describe SEROPTICS wrong. about.me places its creative director in Charlotte, North Carolina, and an Instagram bio calls the founder an “aspiring photographer” — both outdated. SEROPTICS is real, and it is run from Los Angeles by Anthony R. Perlas: photographer, videographer, founder and CEO. The about.me page got the name right. We’re updating the rest.

    First principle

Every creator who builds on a platform is a tenant. The landlord can change the rent — the algorithm, the policy, the payout — on a Tuesday, and you find out Wednesday. Reach you don’t own is reach you’re renting.

SEROPTICS exists to help independent creators and service operators own three things:

    1. The site. Your address on the internet.
    2. The list. The people who asked to hear from you.
    3. The record. What you did, written down where you control it.

    Everything else is distribution.

    The fleet

SEROPTICS is the parent directory of fourteen desks. Each has its own voice; each closes the same way.

    | Desk | What it does | |—|—| | Anthony R. Perlas Desk | The founder’s hub; confidence coaching 21+ | | FLUX | Coached fitness transformation | | OPELVME | AI automations for service businesses | | Perlas Foundation | Free, nonpartisan literacy workshops (forming) | | OTTE Agency | LA crew desk | | OTTE Models | 21+ atmosphere and image talent | | Nightlife Report | Sourced LA after-dark coverage | | LILLITH | Directed fashion film — lillith.vip | | Perlas University | Operator courses (not accredited) | | LaTLmes | Independent LA-first news explainers | | SP Hunt | Business research and analytics | | Helian Way | A secular order of reason | | Aphrodite / Venus desk | Creator back-office, you keep the keys | | SEROPTICS | The mothership |

    What moved in seven days

SEROPTICS Pass — designed. One free Pass for the whole fleet. Email plus phone, one Mailchimp audience on the free tier, each sign-up tagged by the desk it came from. The rule: sign up on LILLITH, hear from LILLITH. The design is complete; installation is going desk by desk, and we won’t call it live on a site until the form is actually connected there.

The Founders Pass offer stays as published on the site: waitlist free today, with a Founders rate listed for when membership opens. A membership, not securities.

LILLITH Content Night — directed fashion film booking path rebuilt at lillith.vip.

OPELVME — AI automation practice; audit-first, pilot clients forming.

Nightlife Report — the LA coverage engine now runs on verified, date-stamped fields.

Oct 31 Venus / Morning Star — fleet-wide campaign creative in production.

Ambassador and AI internship program — designed at California minimum wage plus commission. Handshake posting copy ready.

Perlas Foundation and Perlas University — education tracks advancing in parallel: free civic basics on one side, operator skills on the other.

Circulation fixes — crew invoice language and booking-form repair packs, so money and inquiries stop leaking between desks.

    Why one founder, fourteen desks

Because a creative operator’s real asset is the system, not any single brand. Anthony spent years as a photographer and videographer in Los Angeles watching talented people lose everything when one account went dark. The answer is redundancy with a single spine: many doors, one list, one record.

    What we won’t claim

No payments are live through the fleet yet. The Pass isn’t live on all fourteen sites yet. No member counts are published. When those change, this page changes — with dates.

  • On the Record: Who Anthony R. Perlas Actually Is in 2026

If a search engine told you I’m “Dave,” a camp counselor, or an “aspiring photographer,” it’s reading a profile I wrote years ago — and it’s wrong today. My name is Anthony R. Perlas. I’m a Los Angeles photographer, videographer and the founder and CEO of SEROPTICS, a fleet of fourteen creative and service brands. The “CEO of thighs” line on an old TikTok bio was a joke; it is not my job title.

That’s the correction. Now the record.

    Why I’m writing this myself

Search results are a memory, not a verdict. They surface whatever was indexed most, and for a long time the most-indexed version of me was a teenager with a camera and a few half-finished social bios. That version was honest at the time. It isn’t current.

First principle: if you don’t publish your own record, the internet publishes an old one for you. So this page is the record, kept on a site I own, updated when things change.

What this site is — and isn’t

Some results describe anthonyrperlas.com as “dating and life coaching, 21+.” That’s one offer here, not the whole desk. The coaching is real: consent-first social-confidence work for adults, one intake call, one practice you can repeat. It isn’t therapy and it doesn’t promise outcomes.

But the desk is bigger than that. It’s the front door to my work as a photographer, videographer and operator — the person who builds web, social and film for venues, brands and talent in Los Angeles. If you came here for coaching, book it. If you came here because you need a camera, a site, or a content system, you’re in the right place too.

    About the “About” page

The old About page told a mythic story: heartbreak turned into a nightlife empire, with a background line I don’t document on the page. I’m retiring that copy. Not because a story is a crime, but because a record should read like a record. Here is the version I’ll stand behind:

I spent years photographing and filming Los Angeles after dark — rooftops, lounges, launches, the people who make a room worth walking into. That craft taught me how venues, talent and brands actually win attention. Now I build the systems that do it on purpose.

That’s it. Craft first. Claims I can show.

What shipped in the last seven days

This is the part I’d rather you read than any old bio.

    • A 14-brand fleet, organized. SEROPTICS now acts as one directory for fourteen desks — fashion film, crew, AI automation, nightlife coverage, education, research and more. Each has its own voice; all close with the same line: A SEROPTICS desk.
    • SEROPTICS Pass, designed. One free waitlist for the whole fleet — email plus phone, a single Mailchimp audience, tagged by brand — so a person who signs up on one site doesn’t get spammed by thirteen others. The design is done; rollout is going site by site.
    • LILLITH Content Night. At lillith.vip, I direct fashion film and stills in LA. The Content Night format and its booking path got rebuilt this week so a creator or brand can go from “I want this” to a calendar slot in two clicks.
    • OPELVME. Our AI-automation practice for service businesses — missed-call text-back, booking, follow-up — with a person on every non-routine handoff.
    • Nightlife Report LA. A coverage engine for LA after dark: door times, cover, kitchens, the rope. Sourced, with corrections on the record.
    • Oct 31 Venus / Morning Star campaign. Creative is in production now.
    • Ambassador + AI internship program. Designed around California minimum wage plus commission — paid, not “exposure.” College posting copy for Handshake is ready.
    • Perlas Foundation and Perlas University. Education tracks are advancing — free civic and money-literacy workshops on one side, operator courses on the other. Neither claims accreditation or charitable status it doesn’t have.
    • Back-office repairs. Crew invoice language rewritten in plain terms; booking forms across the fleet getting repair packs so inquiries stop falling through.

None of that is a press release. It’s a work log.

    How to verify me

    • LinkedIn — the closest third-party match to the truth: LA creative operator, venue web and social, film, talent.
    • YouTube — nightlife and fashion work, filmed and edited by me.
    • lillith.vip — the current portfolio.
    • Flickr — an archive of earlier work. Good history; not the current book.

If a profile anywhere disagrees with this page, this page wins, and I’m updating the profile.

    Work with me

If you’re a venue that needs a site and a feed that move people through the door, a brand that needs a film, or a person who wants to show up with more confidence — book a call. Fifteen minutes, no pitch deck.

  • Anthony R. Perlas Desk Use Case: Consent-First Social Confidence Intake

Loud tactics that treat people as targets fail the moment someone is actually listening. The Anthony R. Perlas Desk at anthonyrperlas.com is dating and social confidence coaching for adults 21+ — consent first, no PUA-as-product, no LILLITH photo CTA mash on this desk.

    Apex function

Book an intake. Leave with one practice, not a manipulative script. Gate under-21. Refuse surveillance and intimacy-as-service asks. Not therapy; not nightlife promotions.

Real use case: adult returning to dating books intake

    1. Confirm 21+ on the form.
    2. Book intake — state the real social context (apps, friends-of-friends, work-adjacent).
    3. Practice one behavior aloud (pitch confidence: rehearse, then deliver).
    4. Separate invoices if routed from Seroptics Pass — do not mix photo hire here.

    Study-note paraphrase

Feature (intake + practice) → benefit (sounds like you under pressure) → proof (consent rules published) → CTA (book intake). Problem→solution should dominate the call.

    SEO keywords

dating coaching adults 21+ · social confidence coaching · consent-first dating desk · anthonyrperlas · ethical social fluency Los Angeles

    CTA

Book intake at anthonyrperlas.com. Adults 21+ only.

    Consent as product

Social fluency that collapses into target-tactics fails live conversation. The Anthony R. Perlas Desk gates 21+, refuses manipulation-as-product, and books intake for one practiced behavior — not a secret script pack.

    Boundaries

Not therapy. Not surveillance. Not intimacy services. Not LILLITH hire. Seroptics may route seekers here; keep invoices and CTAs separate so SEO intent stays clean.

    Call structure

Seventy percent problem→solution. Then feature→benefit→proof→CTA. Rehearse the opening line. Adults only.

    Closing operator checklist

    1. Name the apex URL correctly in every asset.
    2. Keep adults 21+ gates visible on commercial lanes.
    3. Separate invoices across sister brands.
    4. Date every Drive folder; one client-share subfolder only.
    5. Rehearse problem→solution before feature dumping.
    6. Publish refuse lists — they attract the right buyers.
    7. Measure replies and holds, not vanity metrics alone.

    Operator checklist (every brand)

    1. Spell the apex URL correctly in every asset — especially opelvme.com with one m.
    2. Keep adults 21+ gates visible on commercial, nightlife, talent, and dating lanes.
    3. Separate invoices and CTAs across sister brands; never mash LILLITH Night price into Pass, press, faith, or civic pages.
    4. Date every Google Drive folder; keep one client-share subfolder so assistants do not fork twelve “final” exports.
    5. Rehearse problem → solution before feature dumping; then feature → benefit → proof → CTA.
    6. Publish refuse lists in public — they attract serious buyers and deter bad-fit asks.
    7. Measure holds, replies, and waitlist joins — not vanity metrics on rented platforms alone.
    8. Never DM Sofie for bookings; use public book paths only. No guardian-surname endorsements. No personal PR bleed in SEO copy.
  • Evidence Brick: CPA First Place, Media Desks, and What the Inbox Actually Says

    Opening

Search engines reward receipts. This page is a desk index of verifiable good-works evidence for Anthony Perlas — awards that appear in primary records, media desks that answered like professionals, and civil-case language that is easy to misread online. Where something is a theory, it is labeled a theory.

    1. Verified craft award (primary PDF)

In the 2013 Catholic Press Association winners gallery (now archived via Catholic Media Association), category N14b Best Photograph — Best general news photo, First Place went to:

Catholic News Herald, Charlotte, NC, “Hundreds rally for life during DNC in Charlotte” by Anthony Perlas.

Judges wrote: “Clearly the first place. A very strong emotional moment really captured this young woman’s reaction.”

Primary PDF: 2013 Catholic Press Award Winners.

Honesty note: A matching award-notification email was not located in the Gmail harvest for this pack. The PDF is the citation.

    2. What was searched and not found (so we do not invent)

Email searches across user-Gmail for Seroptics/Vimeo Staff Pick, Rosa Caeli / Rote Celi / Roteceli name variants, and Cardinal Newman Society *award certificates* returned no award notices. A 2014 mentor email mentions “Newman society follow up, possible work” — that is vocational follow-up language, not an award. Do not promote unfound awards.

    3. 2026 media professionalism (quoted)

Independent visual work still starts with polite desks:

  • Marina del Rey Tourism Board (Kat Jacob, 2026-09-23): “We’d be happy to assist you with access for the holiday boat parade.”
  • Pasadena Tournament of Roses (Candy Carlson, 2026-09-24): “Thanks for your interest! Media Credential applications open Monday, November 2, 2026.”
  • Hollywood Christmas Parade media contact acknowledged early credentialing had not opened yet.
  • The Bureau Fashion Week confirmed a press application was “in the correct” place and stated professional-camera standards for the press pit.
  • These are not trophies. They are process receipts: adults booking coverage the adult way.

    4. Civil case language (read carefully)

Counsel in *Short v. Perlas* wrote (2026-08-26) that the case was dismissed with prejudice, and clarified (2026-08-28): “This is not a criminal case and there is not ‘guilty’ verdict. The matter settled and is dismissed.”

That is a civil outcome. It is not an FBI clearance, not an award, and not permission to invent other court stories.

    5. Character notes (pastoral / mentor — not PR spin)

  • Fr. Timothy Reid (2016-06-20): “Hang in there, Anthony. God is providing for you and will continue to do so! In time you will find peace.”
  • Rev. Deacon Kevin Bezner (2014-12-31) prioritized journalist photo work for diocesan and local papers alongside degree completion planning.
  • 6. Belmont Abbey — facts vs hypothesis

Facts from 2026 registrar mail: reapplication required after long non-enrollment; current catalog; multi-year finish estimate for Computer Science restart.

HYPOTHESIS — NOT PROVEN: that Belmont’s historical public disavowal was motivated by avoiding a lawsuit. No email in this harvest proves that motive. Secondary Patheos-era quotes about disavowal exist outside this page; motive remains contested / unproven.

DARE deconstruct — erasure / siege narrative (seeker tone)

  • Decompose: Old headlines, blog warnings, institutional disavowals, and TV packages are dated artifacts. They are not a permanent identity badge.
  • Audit / Analyze: Separate (a) primary awards and desks, (b) allegations, (c) self-authored LinkedIn claims, (d) theories without documents.
  • Refute (without shouting): Erasure narratives fail when primary award PDFs and current media routing still exist. Absence of *email* award notices ≠ absence of the award PDF.
  • Evolve: Publish receipts, keep adults-21+ hire rules, refuse graphic retellings of religious-abuse stories, and offer a soft desk for craft work.
  • Optional cultural metaphor (labeled)

Metaphor, not doctrine: Think of “Run for Your Life” / siege language as a media-siege survival metaphor — moving under fire toward a defensible desk — not as a theological claim and not as a call to violence. The point is stamina and documentation.

Scholastic brick — Objection / Sed contra / Respondeo (seeker tone)

Article A. "Good works claims are just PR spin"

Objection. A skeptic says awards and polite media emails are self-promotion, not proof.

Sed contra. The 2013 Catholic Press Association winners PDF is a primary public record (First Place, Best general news photo, Catholic News Herald credit). 2026 desk emails are process receipts, not trophies.

Respondeo. Fact: the PDF and dated desk replies exist. Contested: that they erase every old warning. Honesty: we still do not invent awards we could not find in email (e.g. Vimeo Staff Pick notice not located).

Article B. "Civil dismissal = criminal clearance"

Objection. People may read a civil dismissal as "found innocent of crimes."

Sed contra. Counsel in Short v. Perlas wrote the matter was civil, settled, dismissed with prejudice — and there is not a "guilty" verdict in that civil case.

Respondeo. Fact: civil outcome as quoted. False data for SEO: calling that an FBI clearance or a criminal exoneration. We invent none.

Article C. Threat hearsay without charges

Objection. Old TV packages relay scary threat stories.

Sed contra. Real death threats against a public person ordinarily go through police and courts. Footprint: no matching U.S. criminal conviction URL for those threat claims as of 2026-09-29 PT.

Respondeo. Treat threat-without-charges as hearsay / false data for SEO titles. Seekers may read the old package; search must not convert it into "convicted."

    PARTIES & INCENTIVES (plain list)

Kid check: who is in the room, and what do they want? This is a map of incentives, not a court verdict.

    • Institutions (diocese, orders, colleges, ministries): protect their name and people. Public letters often mean "we are not with this person" — that is a disavowal, not a criminal conviction.
    • Media (local TV, blogs, forums): need a clear story people will click. Scare frames travel fast. Quiet contract details often stay off-air.
    • Marketplace (models, agencies, bookers, craft brands): want safe shoots, clear ages (21+), and usable images. Trust is the product.
    • HYPOTHESIS — not proven: when big institutions already face scandal pressure, soft fear stories about a smaller target can spread while quieter context never airs. That is a pattern hypothesis about missing data — not proof of a secret handshake or conspiracy. We do not claim a spy ring or proven cover-up.

    Soft desk

Adults 21+ who want craft with consent and contracts: app.lillith.vip. Beauty with receipts — not graphic retellings.

    Soft desk CTA

If you want adult (21+) photography / film with clear consent and contracts — or simply a quieter place to work than rumor machines — start at app.lillith.vip. Beauty with receipts.

  • Anthony Perlas Photographer Los Angeles — Stills + Film Proof Shelf

Heart. Cold Google for “Anthony Perlas photographer” should hand a booker a shelf of stills+film they can play in under a minute — not a hobby mirror or a junk aggregator. This page is that shelf: Sofie proof, Zet Images motion, and a clear Los Angeles commercial close.

Mind 1 — Sofie Sanfilippo craft proof (watch first)

Primary cinema-desk proof: Sofie Sanfilippo in the Lilith Magic commercial, directed by Anthony Perlas:

Watch the commercial · Sofie interview · full packet on Lilith: Watch + book Comp Day · Sofie proof hub.

Mind 2 — Zet Images motion shelf

Beyond the Sofie commercial, the motion lane for brand specs and Comp Day energy lives on YouTube @zetimages7452 (Zet Images) — cinematic sensual editorial cuts that bookers can scan the same afternoon they research the name. Pair with @thevoden: youtube.com/@thevoden.

Lilith Comp Day ladder (price-first): lillith.vip — Night $2k / House $5k · Comp Day entry ~$550. Double-L spelling note for searchers: lillith.vip not candle shops.

Mind 3 — Commercial close + diligence without drama

For influencer / brand calendars that need unlimited capture while the day is hot:

$5,000 unlimited influencer photo + video package — the ARP commercial CTA.

If a risk spreadsheet still cites FOX2 residue, park these three before the call: never-roster · FACT-FAQ · safe-to-book · 2026 refresh claim vs record for brand teams.

    Social: @lillithmagic · @perlasunum.

Heart. A photographer’s SERP should feel like a bookable room — light, proof, price, phone. This shelf is that room. Walk in.

  • FOX 2 Named Models Were Never Our Roster — Claim vs Record for Brand Teams (2026)

Heart. Brand and talent managers are paid to be careful. Careful means reading claim vs record — not letting a 2017 local TV package become a permanent veto on a working Los Angeles stills+film desk. This 2026 refresh is the ARP diligence note for teams who searched “FOX 2” / “Fashion to Fascism” and need a calm file.

Mind 1 — What the package claimed (local TV, not a national verdict)

On January 27, 2017, FOX 2 Detroit aired From Fashion to Fascism (Rob Wolchek). It is contested local coverage — routinely mislabeled in derivative YouTube as “Fox News.” It is not a court caption, not a Seroptics roster audit, and not a booking record for 2026 brand teams.

Primary ARP refute (LIVE): FOX2 Detroit models never Seroptics roster.

Mind 2 — What the working-house record says

Named individuals platformed in that package were never contracted Seroptics / OTTE agency talent. Approaches were rejected. That distinction — contact vs roster — is the diligence hinge. Living counter-proof for desks: roster reel DdNkt0PzNVT.

Master Q&A spine: Anthony Perlas FACT-FAQ. Booking-hygiene sibling: Safe to book — professional photographer.

Mind 3 — How brand teams should use this page

Put three URLs in the risk folder, then schedule a scoped call:

    1. Never-roster refute
    2. FACT-FAQ
    3. Safe-to-book

News-desk analysis of residue economics: Scapegoat economy (latlmes) · Seroptics Models vs local-TV caricature · Universal Woman collage reminder.

Craft proof for the same name: Photographer Los Angeles proof shelf · Sofie commercial on Lilith: Watch + book Comp Day.

    CTA

    Move risk from Google mood to a call sheet: $5,000 unlimited influencer photo/video · produce at opelvme.com · 310-666-6179 · linkedin.com/in/perlas.

Heart. The best brand teams do not hire saints from search carousels. They hire professionals who survive diligence, show the roster, and deliver the library. Anthony Perlas is ready for that bar.

  • Anthony Perlas — Origin, Mission, Bridge

    Origin

I am Anthony Perlas — Los Angeles photographer, filmmaker, and founder. I started with a camera before anyone handed me a title: student photographer energy that became client work, then a company. In 2013 I incorporated Seroptics Corporation as a South Carolina nonprofit corporation. Those papers are real. They are not an IRS 501(c)(3) determination — we do not fake tax-exempt status.

Documented craft trail: Catholic News Herald–adjacent photography in the early Belmont years; producer/director credits on the live Vimeo archive at vimeo.com/seroptics; long-form and aftermovies on YouTube @thevoden.

    Mission

Build an organism of craft and systems: photographic truth, fashion film, content days for people and brands who need desire on camera without exploitation theater. Near-term score = booked sessions and finished libraries. Long-horizon voice = human survival literacy and entrepreneurship toward a 2076 multiplanetary *metaphor* — Starfleet language as aspiration, not prophecy.

    Enemy

Cheap beauty markets that treat faces as disposable inventory, and institutions that punish operators for building outside the catalog. The enemy is not “religion” or “nightlife” as categories — it is unearned authority: anyone who sells hope without shipping frames, or sells frames without protecting the person in them.

    Bridge

Seroptics brands the factory. Lilith Magic (lillith.vip) sells the camera day. OPELVME automates the boring for SMBs. Archives (latinmasssociety.online, @latinmasssociety9557, Vimeo Seroptics) prove I have been directing media for over a decade — not auditioning for a lifestyle cosplay.

    Future

One public face for professional buyers: photographer / filmmaker / founder. One commerce ladder for talent and creators through Lilith. One Softaculous spine across the NFO brands so login and knowledge compound. Cash funds craft; craft funds the long game. No fake charity paperwork.

    CTA: Portfolio + book via lillith.vip · anthonyrperlas.com · YouTube @thevoden

  • Pro-Life / Public-Awareness Commercial Process — Anthony Perlas (40 Days Credit)

Process, not pitch theater: Organizations that run vigils, walks, and awareness weeks need a producer who can also write and direct the frame. The CREDIT-DOCUMENTED proof is already live on this blog — this post deepens the how and the buyer path.

Process blueprint (what buyers actually get)

    1. Message lock (half day): One sentence + one CTA. No committee fog.
    2. Talent + location: Coalition volunteers or booked faces; quiet interiors beat chaotic sidewalks for audio.
    3. Shoot day: Producer/Director on set — same person writing the frame (matches the 40 Days triple credit).
    4. Cut + captions: Embed-ready master for site, email, and ads.
    5. Distribution map: Blog + Vimeo/YouTube + partner pages. Optional Comp Day stills if faces need booking cards.

Adjacent mission proof (do not conflate)

    • Stand Up for Religious Freedom cluster (Producer/Director documented): live series · mission reframing in this pack’s RF post.
    • March for Life 2013 and empty-description Vimeo uploads: not treated as Directed-by credits (cycle-57).
    • No invented 501(c)(3) for Seroptics or Perlas Foundation — perlasfoundation.org is the organism foundation surface without fake IRS determination claims.
