Anthony R. Perlas is a Los Angeles photographer, AI builder, speaker and U.S. veteran. He founded the LILLITH, SEROPTICS, OTTE, FLUX, OPELVME, SP Hunt and Perlas desks.
What we do
He speaks on one idea: make life portable. Topics include starting over with a plan, building with AI as a solo operator, and the long future of life. Talks are paid engagements.

Why
The talk theme comes from one long view:
- Fact: the Sun is slowly brightening. Solar models give Earth roughly one to two billion habitable years (Schröder & Smith 2008; Wolf & Toon 2015).
- Open question: life may be rare. Earth is the only place we know it exists.
- Belief: humanity should become spacefaring and, in time, carry life beyond the solar system.
- Speculation: if a superintelligence is ever built, it might help preserve life and even restart it elsewhere. Nobody knows whether that’s possible, and we label it that way.
- Philosophy (labeled as philosophy): the universe may work something like a dreaming brain, a mind imagining itself into form. It’s a personal view, never presented as science.
